Uruguayan international Álvaro Recoba will have to be out of the Panionios lineup for the next month after suffering a glute injury. After suffering the injuring this past weekend, an ultrasound confirmed there being a tear in the gemellus muscle in his right glute.

Nacional struggled but still won. They are still ahead of the pack as their match against Peñarol looms. They might as well not think too much about that because they Danubio coming up next weekend. Peñarol struggled but the dam ended up breaking against Villa Española. River Plate stopped the bleeding after winning for the first time in six weeks.
