Another Peñarol Keeper Out
Peñarol seems to have its goal cursed. Nicolás Biglianti Fractured a finger in his left hand during practice today and will most likely miss a good portion of the season. Biglianti was the second goalkeeper so far this short season and he started in both matches so far. He replaced Damián Frascarelli who suffered a season-ending knee injury while the team travelled to Hong Kong for a preseason tournament. Now the Carboneros will have to go to thrid-string keeper Guillermo Reyes.
This was a huge blow for Peñarol, who look to win their first title in four years and return to international play after a two-year absence. Reyes will make his debut against Juventud this coming weekend.
