Crazy For ¨El Loco¨
Diego Simeone came in and is ready to leave his mark on River Plate. One of the first pieces to the puzzle is that of Tigres forward and Uruguayan international Sebastian Abreu.
Considered by Simeone as one of the reinforcements that he needed to stay on at Estudiantes the player made sure that the negotiations were done quickly as he cannot leave the Mexican side soon enough. ¨(A team like River Plate) is a very famous team and the possibility to play for them is a great honor.¨ He mentioned on Monday that the economic aspect of the negotiations is not ¨as important¨ as the athletic. One of the things that the Mexican media did mention was that he was at a point in his life where he wanted to be close to Uruguay. An eminent move to River Pate would leave him just a ferry ride away.
