Glad To Be Back

After a couple of weeks on vacation…I am back and I have to highly recommend the Uruguayan Churrasco that I had at Las Culebrinas in Coconut Grove. To make it short and simple… I had an overload of River Plate cuisine.

I don’t know if that was the straw that broke the camel’s back, but it was yet another reason why I have to move back to Miami. Let’s say that plus Disney World convinced me. So by mid-year I will be leaving the cold of Connecticut.

WE’RE BACK IN SESSION!

So what did I miss? God did I miss alot of things.
For starters we all saw the sport is greater than the game. The game once again returned to stadiums throughout the country and the race for the Apertura title heated up.

Juan Pedro Damiani was elected as new president of Peñarol. He was taking over for his father José Pedro Damiani who died this past August after being in charge of the club for the past 16 years.

Danubio is in the driver’s seat after passing a fading Nacional. Peñarol made their typical late push, but it might not be enough as they barely got a point against River Plate.

Strap your seatbelts boys and girls… it’s gonna be a crazy ride.
