González To Start Against Rossoneri
Álvaro González is ready to make the big step towards fulfilling his destiny. “I very happy to be getting the opportunity to be playing in a game like this with a team as big as Boca,” he said Friday. The Uruguayan will be replacing Fabián Vargas after the latter was sent off in the semifinals match against Etoile Sportive.
With the inclusion of the Uruguayan international, Miguel Ángel Russo finally confirmed his starting lineup against Milan on Sunday in Yokohama: Caranta, Ibarra, Maidana, Paletta, Morel Rodríguez, Battaglia, González, Banega, Cardozo, Palacio, Palermo.
This formation will force Sebastian Battaglia to play at the five spot (holding midfielder) and pushing up Ever Banega to support an in-form Neri Cardozo.
