Lugano Being Looked At By River Plate- For A Day

Nestor Gorosito is starting to make his presence felt at River Plate and wholesale changes are ready to be made. One of the first ones that is being reported is that of trying to bring Diego Lugano to the Argentine club during the winter transfer window.
The Fenerbahce defender was under José María Aguilar’s radar but the transaction was shortly lived mostly because of the financial impossibility of obtainig the Uruguayan international.
Lugano is considered one of the best central defenders in the world with an impressive resume that includes a Copa Libertadores title and a South American PLayer of the Year award with São Paulo.
