Peñarol Will Take Part In Ronaldo Inauguration

The Uruguayan giants got a great offer to be part of the debut of Ronaldo at Corinthians. Peñarol is supposed to travel to São Paulo to play in a friendly against the Timão on January 17th. The aurinegros would give the thumbs up to travel to Brazil for this match in which they would earn an estimated US$200,000.

This will mean that the club with split themselves in half. Half of the team will be taking part in the friendly match against the Brazilians while the others will stay home and take part in the Copa Bimbo.
On January 17th they would be playing Nacional while Atletico Mineiro would do the same against Cruzeiro. The winners of the two confrontations would face off in the final of the Cup on January 21st.
