As a Sevillista I voted for Chevantón. I love him, he’s the best super-sub since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He doesn’t play a hell of a lot but when he does he almost always seems to score. Definitely one of the few extremely underrated players in Europe.

I have to give it to Forlán due to reliability…Chevantón, Godín and Eguren are all great but a little less consistent, and while Lugano is reliable I’m not sure if he is exactly top tier yet. There is a lot of talent in the younger generation, from Suarez to Caceres, but they have a long way to go to dethrone Forlán who might not be among Uruguay’s most talented, but is the highest scoring Uruguayan in La Liga history for a reason.

Forlan, for me he is class. i never understood why he played so poorly with Man United, and Juan do you much about Matthias Cardaccio he signed for Milan but doesnt get 2 many chances to play.

Dear Samuel,
Due to your suggestion we got the wheels turning on that issue. I will keep you in touch regarding Cardaccio. Thanks for the suggestion.

yeah man no problem. i hope cardaccio becomes a great asset to Uraguay in the future. i have only seen a tiny bit of him, but he has described himself as a deep lying; play dictating pirlo type midfielder on several Milan interviews> just hope he and Vuidez can become vital players to us soon.

I’m not sure but i think of Recoba, Estoyanoff and Forlan… but there are great youth players coming… Federico Laens(Udineze- loaned by Pescara), Emiliano Alfaro(Liverpool(URU)), Mathias Cardaccio(Milan), Bruno Fornaroli, etc…
