Sánchez Signs With Schalke

Uruguayan international was presented today to the German media and immediately signed a three-year contract with the Schalke 04. The former Toluca man was the replacement of fellow countryman Darío Rodríguez, who will be given a tribute match on January 25th where they will play Swiss club FC Basel.
“It is one of the big clubs in Europe and I heard a great deal of good things about it from my fellow Uruguayan players,” said Sánchez after being introduced to the fans and media earlier on Thursday.
