La Celeste fell two places in FIFA’s monthly rankings of national teams. Their last performance, a 2-2 draw against Colombia, did not help their cause. That in addition to their struggles in the CONMEBOL qualifiers saw them get leapfrogged by both Ivory Coast, Norway, and Egypt.
